Job Purpose

Aajil is hiring a Senior Copywriter to fully own all outward-facing copy and act as the single source of truth for copy quality, tone, and effectiveness across the brand.

This is a build-from-zero role, not a maintenance position. The role is critical in shaping and structuring the brand voice, particularly across performance marketing channels.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no people-management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Copy Ownership and Brand Voice

• Own all external-facing copy for Aajil across channels

• Act as the final authority on copy quality, tone, and consistency

• Define, document, and evolve Aajil's brand voice and copy standards

• Serve as the internal reference point for all copy-related decisions

Performance Marketing

• Write, test, and optimize paid advertising copy across Meta, Snapchat, and X

• Produce static image ad copy and short-form ad scripts

• Partner closely with the performance marketing team to improve campaign results

Organic and Brand Copy

• Own organic copy across LinkedIn and the website

• Support press releases, company announcements, and brand campaigns

• Ensure messaging consistency across all public brand touchpoints

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing, Brand, and Design teams

• Translate ideas into clear copy briefs

• Present and defend copy decisions when required

Requirements

Core Requirements

• Based in KSA with strong local market experience

• Native or best-in-class Arabic

• Strong English reading and comprehension skills

• Proven experience writing paid ads for Meta, Snapchat, and X

• Experience building a brand voice from scratch

• Startup or scale-up experience

Copy & Creative Capabilities

• Performance-driven paid ad copy

• Organic copy for LinkedIn

• Website copywriting experience
