As an AI & Machine Learning Intern (4 months, Riyadh), you'll work on production systems that assess risk, automate underwriting, and power decisions for thousands of SMEs. What You'll Do

You'll build, train, and deploy machine learning systems that directly impact credit assessment, fraud detection, and business intelligence. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and training ML models for credit risk prediction, fraud detection, and procurement optimization.
• Cleaning, preprocessing, and analyzing datasets to extract insights that drive business decisions.
• Building document intelligence pipelines and NER models for Arabic-native financial documents.
• Supporting model deployment and monitoring in production environments to ensure reliability.
• Documenting model performance, limitations, and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proposing innovative solutions and staying current with AI/ML advancements to improve existing workflows.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Risk, and Product teams to ship AI-powered features.

What We're Looking For

• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts (supervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation).
• Proficiency in Python with experience in scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying datasets and basic data manipulation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate model outputs into business insights.
• Clear communication skills to bridge technical complexity and business impact.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• Hunger to learn, iterate, and deploy models that handle real-world challenges.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and model deployment tools.
• Interest in fintech, Arabic NLP, or SME credit ecosystems.
